Hey everyone. Given the current worldwide situation we’d like to take a moment to update you all on what this means for us for the foreseeable future.
We’ve decided to postpone Season 2, Episode 10 of Blood on the Tamesis. As things are, it’s impossible to continue with our usual form of content which involves the group of us meeting and playing in the same space, and we don’t want to rush out something in a new format until we’re sure it’s right for the chronicle. However, as unfortunate as this is, we don’t want this to put a stop to our content, and we want to take this opportunity to foster a sense of community and give all of us something to look forward to and enjoy in this time of uncertainty.
Instead of our usual stream on Monday, Peter and Carlos will be hosting an interactive session discussing V5, how we treated it during Blood on the Thames, Blood on the Tamesis, and how we intend to use it in Blood on the Severn (more on this below!). As promised, we will be announcing the winner of our Herald’s Coin giveaway. It’ll also be a chance for us all to catch up, hang out, and hopefully have some fun.
One of the things we’ve enjoyed the most about the last eighteen months or so is getting to know so many of you, and it’s been a special delight to have Kirstie come over to the UK and be part of the group this year (we miss you Kirstie!). With that in mind, we’d like to use this opportunity to get more of you involved in the games we run. The current plan is to set up a series of streamed dial-in games that Carlos will run over the coming weeks. These will be set in our version of Bristol that was introduced in Carlos’ Blood on the Severn one-shot, which he will talk more about on Monday. There are other exciting things in the works too, but we can’t quite talk about them yet.
In the meantime, do come and say hi to us. The world is a scary place right now, but we hope that together we can create a small respite where we can play games and talk about roleplaying, cheese, and the joy of Stroopwaffels.
