Carl is on fire this week!*

Updated: Feb 14, 2021

More fabulous art of Nanjizal and Janusz by Kirstie (@kirstie_1999), now with catchphrases!

This week will be Josh's last session playing Carl of Clan Toreador. It's not yet clear if he'll be going out in triumph, in a box, or a jar full of ashes, but it'll be interesting whatever happens. However, he's not gone yet and there's a poem to prove it! In this case, a warm welcome for the Bani Haqim into the arms of the Camarilla:

Welcome, welcome Banu Haqim

Powerful fellows who are more than they seem

Storied kindred from the mystic east

Welcome now to this wedding feast

The joining of your ways to our precious faction

You are what we lack, kindred of action

Your knowledge of war and strength of arms

Enhancing and strengthening our more peaceful charms

Oh Banu Haqim, we are to be fast friends

Now and long after this perilous night ends

We welcome you now, dear sisters and brothers

You are our chosen, above any others!

The Coterie have gotten further into bed with Teach of the Autarkis, gaining his support at the cost of a quite a few stains to their souls**. This means that they'll be able to delve deeper into the mysteries of the city. Meanwhile, the Society of Leopold is threatening to rise again in Bristol, prompting Janusz to withdraw to his Haven with Matilda, and Nanjizal to hide Carl away for his own protection.

The session ended with Annie the Malkavian having a vision that Carl is going to burn that night unless something is done. To find out if he does, come watch us at 7pm UK time, live on Twitch!

*This may be metaphorical or literal, but we won't know until the end of Episode 5 of Season 2.

**Except for Nanjizal, who is also Autarkis.
