Here comes Season 3

Awesome fan art by Kirstie! (@kirstie_1999)

Big thanks to Tidus for running A Manchester Requiem, and to the players; Chris, Sass, and Alisha for being fabulous. We understand their characters will continue to have adventures offline and wish them all the best of luck!

The third and final* season of Blood on the Tamesis kicks off on Monday. We've done a number of things to help remind people what was going on. First off, there's the relationship map that you can check out. It's been updated from the end of Season 2, and pertinent characters from the Memoriam session have also been added to the main chronicle.

Second, Peter has recorded catch up chats with each of the players. If you haven't had the chance to listen to them yet, now's your chance. Click the links to enjoy!

There is also an exclusive bonus recording for our supporters where Mitch and Peter talk about the end of Season 2/start of Season 3 from a Storyteller's point of view that will be out later today.

Third, we'll be releasing a recap video for Season 2, Episodes 5-10 for those who missed them or need a reminder of what's happening. And finally, at the bottom of this post, you'll find a written summary of recent events. We're planning to make episode summaries on the blog into a regular feature, so let us know what you think on our Discord**. Speaking of Discord, we have a new vote running there, where you can alter the direction of the story. Don't forget to vote!

Looking forward to seeing you all for some Season 3 drama on Monday, 7pm UK time, live on Twitch!

*Some people*** doubt that Peter is going to fit everything into Season 3. Only time will tell if they're right

LAST SPOILER WARNING!

Season 2, Episode 10 Recap

Joanne has been asked to kill Geoffrey Fletcher (a neonate of clan Ventrue) by Noah Breslaw. She goes to the house where he's staying but finds him in the company of a group of young students and decides to let him go this time. Theodore rushes a number of deals to free up his finances and Miyuki, allowing him to help Sir William with his own financial troubles. Miyuki goes to stay under Sir William's protection while she provides her business acumen, moving Theodore a step closer to earning a major boon from the Prince's childe.

Velvet meets Adam in private. Adam is very keen to taste Velvet's blood again and tries to force the issue. However, Velvet persuades him to stand down.

Joanne and Theodore go to meet Alistair (Joanne's grandsire) only to find the Herald of Oxfordshire already there. For once, he has good news. The Prince has decided to forgive Clan Toreador its past transgressions, and Alistair is now free. Alistair tells Theodore a little about Clan Tremere and their fall from grace. He also transfers the major boon he holds from Sir Enolf von Bassenheim over to Joanne in gratitude.

Meanwhile, Silas goes to a field for a secret meeting with Sir Marta and his grandsire, Sir Kirstagg. They are not happy with Prince Drogo, nor are they happy with the idea of Helena as a potential replacement, and are quietly plotting rebellion. Silas agrees to be part of it.

The date of the duel between Princes arrives, but Helena has a trick up her sleeve in the form of a champion. Amago Takahisa, elder Ventrue of Tokyo, takes her place and duels Drogo. The fight is bloody, and both have moments of disgrace. Drogo, however, truly loses himself to the beast, shaming himself and breaking the oath he is supposed to embody. It is a close match, but in the end, armed with knowledge of Drogo's weaknesses, Amago is victorious.

Helena gives the kindred of Oxfordshire one month to either swear allegiance to her or leave the domain, with the exception of Jason Olcott, the Herald. She demands he swear to her immediately, drink of her blood, and look after the domain until her return. He reluctantly agrees. Theodore does not like this and makes his displeasure public. Helena rebuts him and then leaves.

Season 2 ends with Oxfordshire in a place of uncertainty. Season 3 will be picking up immediately from where we left off.
