When the going gets tough, Carl makes good art. Last session, as Bristol scrambled to deal with the crisis in London, Carl responded by writing some new lyrics (to the tune of London's Falling):
"London’s Fallen and our faraway town
Is dragged to war, our battle come down
London’s fallen and our crew of fools
Emerges from havens with thin bloods and ghouls
London’s fallen, so all join with us
The capital’s council has bitten the dust
London’s calling, the elders all swing
From a gibbet, a rope, a hangman’s thing
The enemy’s coming, the foe’s zooming in
Meltdown expected, the blood’s growing thin
Refugees running all feeling fear
Cause London is fallen
And Nanj crosses the river!"
The coterie had very varied reactions to the four kindred guests they have to look after, and it's fair to say that not everyone is happy with the new arrangements. Will Carl work these kindred into his next production? Will Matilda be able to keep them under control, or will Janusz lose his shit while Nanjizal boxes them up? Find out on Monday, 7pm UK time, live on Twitch.
