The cake is not a lie!

Our own Blood on the Thames cake! The logo looks so good. At least it did until we ate it.

Episode 30 brought Book 3 to a close with some interesting court antics, and you've given us some more wonderful fan art, but we'll save that for another post because we need to talk a bit more about Patreon.

And there were loads of nice touches like the clan symbols and stream related paraphernalia adorning the sides. We ate those too.

We've had Patreon running three weeks and you have already helped us to reach 8 of our goals. 8! Which is amazing. We're currently working towards delivering on those promises and will be updating regularly over the coming weeks.

Phil is a professional and has spent his life training for things like this. Please, don't try this at home.

On Monday we delivered on our first (and arguably most important) promise: the cake. This was made for us by the excellent Phoebe's Cupcakes. Do go and check them out, and if you're local, buy a cake. Trust us when we tell you that it was delicious (and did not last long). Rumours about there being footage of us devouring the cake, and said footage being hazardous to watch are currently unconfirmed.

I think you can imagine what happened next...

Don't forget that there's still time to enter the giveaway. courtesy of Wayward Leather. If you'd like to win, you can enter our draw by supporting the Blood on the Thames Patreon. And you get an additional draw for each other person you persuade to join.

Win all this stuff!

We'll be back on the 1st July with Episode 31 and the start of Book 4 (and the draw for the competition). As we always do, we're using the 2 week break between books to take stock, make plans and see what we can do better. Given the incredible support you've provided, those plans may be accelerating a little faster than we expected! More news on that in the future.

The last slice. Since the taking of this picture it has mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps we really do have a ghost.

Announcement: We're taking a break

As you probably have noticed by now, we have not announced what our plans will be after the end of Blood on the Severn on the 21st June. The main reason for this is that, after three years of continuo
